Made with acrylics on canvas board, this painting is meant to depict the high heat of summer and vibrancy often found in old, narrow alleyways.

This painting was approached differently than many of my others, in that I didn’t have any plan or idea at all of what the painting could or should be when I started applying paint to the board. I chose vibrant colors to start with - reds, oranges, and peaches - and made the scene up as I went.
